One of my quail escaped the coop during cleaning and was attacked by crows. She has a few missing feathers on her head and both her legs behind the knee are bloodied. It's 36 hours since it happened and shes walking fine and eating well in a box inside. Looking for advice on what to clean her legs with and how long to keep her isolated from the others? I've only just got the quail, will the group accept her back after a weeks recuperation inisolation?

I would use a spray bottle with very warm salt water. They like this once they get used to it. Just make sure the bird is dry and warm so it doesn't catch a chill.

I would clean all cuts and scrapes out with neosporin to prevent infection. Once they begin to scab, you can reintroduce the quail to the flock. Just make sure that the wounds are super clean.

Careful when cleaning not to cause additional injury... Suggest watching it closely when put back with the others for obvious reasons... It should be fine... Good luck!
