i have a rooster with some balance issues right now, and he looks up a lot. poor thing has been thru a lot these last few weeks. long story short- new home, got into with resident roo (not bad) then flew into my fenced yard and the jack russells attacked him. he coughed up some blood, lost tons of feathers, was sore but good. about a week after this he had a lot of poo on his back feathers. i read that this was bad and to bathe hime. followed directions i found on the internet and did so, he didn't seem to mind either. but after he started stumbling. his stumbling has improved in the past week. he has been steadily eating and drinking more the last few days. i've kept him isolated cuz he seems so weak and the others seem to want to initimidate him. he isn't crowing either. any ideas? i really don't think taking him to a vet at this point is a possibility.
