Injured Rooster...

Hello,
Today sadly my 2 roosters had a fight. One of them (Stanley, the silkie) has a few minor cuts on his back, it isn't very serious.
But i'm worried about him as he is in a lot of shock. He can hardly stand and hold his head up. He has his mouth wide open and is panting like mad. He keeps closing his eyes.
Is there anything I can give him/ do to help him? Have any of you had experiences like this?

Definitely, give the poor thing a quiet and possibly shaded spot where it can be alone. Plently of water that it may choose to drink . Just make him feel safe. God Bless your rooster.

He is in my bedroom, snuggled up in a basket and a blanket. I decided to bring him inside as I didn't want him to get an infection or disease. I have tried to give him some food but he didn't want it, but he did have a good drink of water. Now I have turned off all the lights and he is sleeping next to a hot water bottle.

He's just exhausted. I would put some electrolytes in his water and let him rest. Glad you got to him in time.
