Those chick Hatched yesterday, was running around eating etc today.

I thought it was just super tired at first.

We were having A hard time keeping a child out of the broader earlier- what if it's an injury!!???

Chick is kind of limp, just relaxes if flipped over, wont roam, not too interested in food now. Used a paint brush to give vitamins and sugar water.. Chirps when you pet it, can twitch when you touch it sometimes. How do I tell? It's a pompom.

What is a Pompom?

Is this the only chick?

I'd keep her warm and hydrated. Giving the vitamins is a good idea, hopefully what you have contains E and B1(Thiamine). See if you can encourage her to eat once she's well hydrated. Mushy chick starter may be enticing.

Hi sorry, I just mean she looks like a little pompom. We had a bunch of weird position chicks. Another one died. The hatch was delayed over days (first one- I stink), I am wondering if it's due to nastiness. It was pretty gross. I kept hoping they'd all come out and I could get them out of there but it was a slow process. So many lessons learnt. Little disheartened. There is another chick with a head wobble that was in a very strange malposition. Yes I tried to save as many as could. She did seam to perk up with some food but I'd still just sleeping. Is it wry neck? I put little soft paper towel braces around d their necks just in case. Not too tight but not able to move. I have no idea what to do. Just trying things.

I'd take the braces off, they need to be able able to move about if they want to.

Vitamin E (400IU) and B-Complex (1/4 tablet) is the treatment for Wry Neck. Give this daily to each chick.
Is the one that is very sleepy better off separate or with the rest?
