Hey some other advice, if its getting in from the floor of the run you might want to try and cover the bottom with chick wire then dirt or whatever is on the ground on top of that. staple the wire to the bottom boards. Good luck

Well... the remaining chickens made it through the night!!!!

Hubby stayed up ready in case something tried to get in again. We nailed and nailed the bottom of the run, we moved the tractor closer to the dog and when I went out this morning to check on them, there was NO evidence of anything trying to get in!! Hope it stays that way!!!

The only Silkie to survive this is doing ok. Not putting any weight on the leg and tried to clean it and move its toes around a little. I'm hoping that it's just too sore right now for it to try to put any weight on it and that it won't give it any trouble later. Thanks again!!
