A weasel got into a batch of newly purchased chicks killing five and injuring one. ("POP" went the weasel, and we moved the chicks into the house until they are larger). Half of its wing was stripped of skin and feathers leaving the red tissue exposed. We are keeping her separate with just two other chicks for company. Is there anything that could be applied to help heal and hide the injury from other chicks? Since the injured chick wants to peck at the darkened end of its wing, I believe that when joining the larger group of chicks they will peck at it, though I've not seen any pecking from its two buddies.
