I have a 19 week old pullet who won't put any weight on one of her legs. It started a few days ago as a minor limp and has progressed to where she wont put any weight on it, she falls over (catches herself with her wings and lays down) if she tries. She's now (since last night) in a dog crate inside (its super hot here for the weekend). She's eating, drinking and pooping like a champ and is very alert, but lays soft shelled eggs (I found possibly two in with her yesterday after I brought her inside (one whole intact with a soft shell, and one that looked like it was just soft shell with no innards...possible the shell slipped off the whole one?) I know she roosted on the upper most roost (which have since lowered as I'm thinking this could be something to do with her getting down from there) the night after I first saw the limp and it was noticeably worse the next day and the day after that. I can't find any noticeable injuries, the foot/leg isn't hot and there's no sign of bumble. Are there any causes that I wouldn't know about or do you guys think I'm right that its a sprain or something along those lines? The soft eggs are throwing me off.

What are you feeding her?
Have you had any respiratory illness in your flock?

New layers can have soft shell eggs, but since she is exhibiting other symptoms, then I would keep a close watch on her. Get her hydrated, offer extra calcium (1/2tab Caltrate, TUMS, etc.) and see if that helps. Soft shell and shell less eggs can be very hard to expel.

The limping is concerning-injury, vitamin deficiency or disease like Marek's are all possibilities. Poultry Vitamins that contain B2 may help.
