Injury or illness?

One of my toms is not acting right. He is just standing there like he is sleeping, acts like he is not seeing right, and has a knot on the back of his neck. I noticed there is white crusty stuff on the lump. I was able to scrape a little off and two sections peeled up to reveal damp but normal looking tissue underneath. Otherwise he is very healthy. Any ideas? Pics attached.

Yep, he was injured and this is most likely an abscess which should be drained and treated with anti-biotic.

Is there any antibiotic in particular you would recommend?

Topical I would use a triple anti-biotic and penicillin orally for about 5 days. The best thing is to get it drained and flushed with hydrogen peroxide to remove the bulk of the infection.
