I noticed a cut on the neck of one of my birds. Watching them I didn't notice any attacking the injured bird nor does she seem to be attacking out of the norm. I was wondering if there is anything I need to do to treat the injury or separate her from the other birds?[IMG]

    Welcome to BYC.

It could be a scrape from fencing or she may have been pecked by another member of the flock.
Usually a minor scrape/cut will heal on it's own without treatment, but if you feel like it needs attention then, you can apply some plain neosporin or vetericyn to the wound. Chickens heal fairly quickly.

Do keep an eye on it for a few days, if you see swelling, pus or if it develops an odor, then you will want to treat it.
