What kind of ink should I use to label hatching eggs? Is it poisonous and can maybe get through the shell and affect the hatch? Thanks

I use a big fat dark sharpie, it is easy to see and have no trouble at all. It is safe.

Quote:I second this. Pen can wash off or smear (even Sharpie), but pencil is non-toxic and won't wash off.
