Hello BYC! Been a while since I've posted, as my original flock was very established, happy and thriving until a couple of very determined farm dogs got through our beautiful set up.

Anyway, after years of lurking for my answers I have a question! Do you think my two TSC "pullet" Rhode Island Reds are actually pullets? I have my ideas, just wondering what yours are. TIA!

Usually roos combs do develop bigger and redder the hens. At 5.5 to 6 wks we knew our BLK AUS was definitely a roo. How are the hackle and saddle feathers look. They should start showing a little definition.

They're a bit slower to feather and that makes it hard to tell. I'll go takelook here in a bit, but I don't think there's much to see
