I'm so sorry for your loss.Final update in the Schrodie story:
Schrodie was struggling to breathe, was incredibly high in temperature, and could not lift up her head or acknowledge me. At 730 pm this evening, I took Schrodie outside to see the sun, to feel the grass under her feet and to smell the fresh air. I thanked her for teaching me so much and apologized for her pain and suffering. She went over the rainbow bridge shortly after and is buried in one of my favorite spots on the property. Thank you all so very much for your input, your kind words and your encouragement! I am beyond grateful for learning about this website through this process and look forward to being able to reference it in the futureWith a lump in my throat and a quiver on my lip, I know I did everything I know how and every day she told me she wanted to keep going I kept at it. She just told me today that she didn’t have enough fight left.
Thank you for taking care of Schrodie until the end. ❤
