I was wondering what color people paint the inside of their coops?
Does it affect the chickens if the color is too bright? Or is it better to leave it unpainted inside? I thought it might be easier to clean if it's painted but would like to know what common the practice is.
Thanks!

I just bought a gallon of paint at wal-mart today to paint the inside. It was $16.97 a gallon- semi-gloss exterior. Summer Rye is the color. (kinda beige-ish color)

I use the plastic wavey greenhouse roofing on the inside of my coops makes it easy to clean all of mine just happens to be white though.

For easy clean up of the inside of the chicken coop floor (in theory anyway!) I used a sheet of vinyl of the type that you might find in you shower say. I have the outside of the coop barn red, but after reading these posts on what people paint the interiors of their coops I just might have to go pick up more paint!
