I used a 50/50 plastic and wood blend for all the siding and the back of the board which is inside the coop is like a cardboard feeling material, what can i put over it b/c it seems like it could get gross pretty quick? Check out the picture of the material...Thanks!

You can use Porch and Floor paint to seal it up. It will take a few days to dry fully. I think you may want to look at primer made for use with porch and floor paint as well.

The stuff I used in my coop on the floor did not need a primer to seal up raw plywood and has been holding up for a year now with cleanings and chickens running around scratching and pecking in there.

I don't recall the brand but I got it at Home Depot for like 30 dollars a gallon. Reading the instructions for use on the can will help you find the one that does not require priming.

I do think you can paint it. Heck cardboard will accept painting even. Just need the right paint.

The porch and floor paint I used was thicker than regular paint and is doing very nicely on my coop floor. I think the way acted with the plywood it would do well in your application too.
I think it is oil based not latex. It stunk and took a full 24 hours in the partial shade to fully dry.

Do you have a link to the exact product?
Is that the back of the exterior siding?

Paint adhering to plastic can be tricky...I'd contact the manufacturer.
