Well I slept almost all day yesterday. Same thing today. I’m feeling pretty dizzy and weak. I must have some sort of virus. Hoping I’m on the mend soon.

Well I'm taking my first melatonin as I head off to bed. I have some chewable that I start with but I use them as sublingual and I keep a bottle of sublingual by the bed. I don't have to get up to take more when needed. So far this approach is working. Sooner or later is most likely will not but until then "Keep knocking on wood".

I don't usually sleep well at night. But, I am GREAT at falling asleep during the day or evening, especially if there is something I really want to see on TV. Once I settle in on the sofa, there's no guarantee I will be awake for any amount of time at all, regardless of the time of day.

Thank goodness for DVR so I can -- at some point -- watch the ending of movies, ball games and game shows.

For many years, I got up at 4:20 a.m. so I could be at work by 6. Although those days are well behind me, I cannot sleep late, no matter what. So, I am most actively posting on BYC in the wee hours; sounds like we might run across each other then. :)

Have any of you tried specifically Magnesium Glycinate? I tried just about everything from herbal remedies, sleeping pills, melatonin and all other types of magnesium (there are I think 10 different types). I would take forever to fall asleep and when I did wake up every hour usually around 3-4am being wide awake. I stumbled upon an article about Magnesium Glucinate which I had never heard of specifically. I didn’t think it would do much since I have tried so many other types of magnesium, but I have been sleepless for awhile now and willing to try anything. I picked up some 400mg tablets and ever since I have been sleeping like a rock. I have only been taking them for a month so far, but I’m pretty sure this is the best month’s sleep of my life.

Oh I’ll have to give that a try! Thank you!
