Hello fellow Insomniacs, I am glad you are here sharing this.❤️
I am too have been having issues of not able to sleep or not sleep throughout the night. I wake up a gazillion times throughout the night. I am not looking forward to the evening time because of this.

I often wake up at a very early hours, I stay bed mostly because I read somewhere that between midnight and 4am in the morning is the spirit hours, so I am spook of that.😄

Due to lack of sleep, I am tired often, sleepy during the day, grumpy, easily irritated at just about anything that move.

I read that...lack of sleep causes depression, irritation, and this lead to early dementia. I rather not take sleeping pill, and I think in many ways, my sleepless issue is due to old age, body ache and pain.

I mostly think about my chickens, I stay in bed thinking about each individual of my chickens, their personalities, and I love them all individually.

We are literally the same haha every single time there is something I want to watch I fall asleep 🤣😅
My husband gets SO mad at me because I can never stay awake during a movie!
I watched many movies, but each time I watch them, I only remember the first 10minutes of it, the rest I have not seen it at all. Then I wake up after it was over. 😄

Anyone tried a diet change to fix sleeping problems?

I’ve had problems falling asleep for about a year. Just over a year ago I started sleeping normally again.

I’ve got Crohn’s disease and a couple years ago I went low carb. At the same time, I basically went vegetarian, with very little meat in my diet (sometimes on weekends). My Crohns did well on the diet but…

One day I could not sleep and things went down hill really quickly. Ended up on amitryptaline. Worked okay but in the end wanted to find an actual solution to my problem.

I went on a carnivore diet for about a month which fixed my problem. So, still low carb but quite different from what I’ve been used to.

Worked wonders. I added some fruits into the diet, and on weekends I’ll sometimes go wild and have some cake. But otherwise it’s just meat, dairy and, of course, eggs!

My sleeplessness or interrupted sleep is due to old age, ache and pain.

Most days I was able to sleep, but wake up constantly throughout the night, and then stay awake. These are restless sleeps, and I am very tired whenever this happen which is often, too often.
