Just got caught up on this thread. I'm so glad you're home, Luke. Please keep taking things easy. We need more young teachers like you around!

So glad you are home! Love the expression your friend's face - you could probably use if for one of your student's vocabulary definitions...

God bless your friend.
What a real gem he is for coming in to help you out AND being a good sport about your girl decided he was a nice perch-he gets a LOT of credit for that, what with him being a city boy.

Glad you're getting to go home!

Today I put on my mask, went to Lowe's and Home Depot and purchased some pavers, mulch, and decovative fencing that will be landscaped around the coop.

Sad news though. I found a bunch of feathers outside the shed. My roommate said that they'd been there since last week. I'm guessing he didn't know that this meant something horrible had happened to one of the birds. My blue/red Ameracauna bantam rooster is missing.

So, Im going to get a crew to help me get started on the roofing ASAP.

Other than that...I am resting in bed now.

Wow, for somebody who should be taking it easy.....you sure have a lot of energy!
Maybe it's just the rage of finding out one of your babies was eaten.
Keep yourself out of trouble, and keep the mask on when you are outside.
Hugs, Roberta
