Roost looks Great!

I line mine with newspaper & change everyother day!

Not sure if anyone else mentioned Nest Boxes should be lower than roost!

I use a 12X1 X6 wood board as a ramp. I then I cut 1x1 in 12 inch lengths and nailed them on the board about every 8 inches for them to get up to perches. They didn't get it at first until I started putting them on the ramp a few times and then they all started using it. I think the board was a piece if fence board that was laying around and I bought the 1x1 which was 6 ft. but it was only $2.69. Anyway just an idea you might try.

Great job, of all the things you can do to a chicken coop this is the one item you will never regret doing.
I use ground corn cob on my dropping board and clean once a week.
Those who use newspaper, did or do you have this problem. I tried the newspaper but when the chickens flap their wings it caused it to move around or up and that freaked the chickens out and sent them into a panic. Never knew newspaper was a chicken predator but apparently it is as my chickens are terrified of it.
