I offered more calcium to my girls when their eggs were porous earlier this spring. I was getting awesome shells within a couple of weeks.
 
I'll get some oyster shell. We hadn't had a problem with shellless eggs so I never thought of adding the calcium when I wanted to hatch. I'll get some sometime this week

I would go with this. I have a still air and I run my temp on the cooler side at about 100 and always have good hatches. I prefer the issues at lower heat then the issues at higher if I have to pick one or the other.
