Insulated my coop today

Hi all! To get ready for colder weather, I put up foam insulation sheets today. I heard and figured that my girls would probably peck at the insulation and eat the little white pellets... so.. I stuck 3 rows of vinyl stick-on tiles on the foam insulation sheets. It actually looks really nice. Each tile is 12x12, so the tiles go up 3 feet off the floor. I figured the vinyl tile would be really easy to just wipe down and clean also. I'll try to post pictures if you want to see them.

you are really on the ball. I went out yesterday and bought the water heater thingy and also for my small pond. I didn't want to freak at the last minute and yes I know it's early.

Great idea about the heater for the pond.. I'll have to do that too.

What a great idea! I've been thinking about how to insulate my coop for those dreary SLC winters and this might work for me. Could you post a pic?-tomorrow even since its dark now.
