I live in NW Missouri where the weather gets 100 only a few days a year, and -degreze a few days durring the winter. I'm planning on building a pallet coop for 6girls. Will I need insulation in all the walls, or in the roof, both?

Also we have tons of peanut packing styrofom and have access to tons more. Would this be a good insulator.
I know I need to make sure there are no cracks where the girls can get to it.

If you have "free" insulation and can put plywood up over it go for it! It never hurts to insulate, but it doesn't sound like you have to for your area. I presume you'd put up the plywood with a gap at the top and fill the empty space between the studs with the packing peanuts? Sounds like a great recycling idea!

If you insulate, do all the walls and ceiling.

If you have access to free insulation, ,,then insulate..

there might come a time, it may be only once, that you would want to have it. it is always nicer to say I;m glad I did it, than to say ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I wish,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
