I ordered 7 ready to lay ISAs & 9 chicks for delivery March 31st. They will be integrated into a coup & run sized for 40, currently with 24 aging hens. Looking for advice, principally with the 7 ISAs in with 24.

I have done 4-5 hatches, use @ arrt's integration process, successful each time.

Thank you.

I have a run that I can separate from my coop that is an easy way to do look-no-touch so the larger flock can get all around the new ones and no one has to be shuffled around at bedtime. It has worked well for me with grown hens but I free range fully during the day so when it’s time to let the new ones out they have plenty of space and cover to get away. I’ve not had ISAs but I’ve integrated game hens this way with very minimal scuffles. I don’t know if that helps answer your question.
