Integrating...Again...

I can’t find pictures of my coop since I haven’t taken any recently, and it’s been raining constantly by me for 3 days, but I measured 40 square feet when I last measured. Not sure of the run, though. I’ll try and measure that when the rain stops. My poor polish chicks haven’t been allowed outside for a few days, but I’ve luckily got my pullets out for some worm catching during short breaks in the rain.

I’d like to apologize for not getting the measurements to you sooner.

So your coop is 20x20? Is it divided up in any way? You would have room to keep the polish separately if you wanted.

So 10 birds total? 6 "old" and 4 "new"? That is about the limit if your coop is 4 by 10 and if you go with the "4 square feet per bird" rule.
Yes, and now that it’s spring and I’m getting them out to free range almost every day, they are already meeting eachother and the chickens are learning about them as they watch from their outside cage while I’m not home. I’m not sure if anybody else knows besides aart, but I’m making a bigger coop once I have free time (summer, basically).

Also I’m pretty sure 2 are boys, and we’d only keep one and so we may not even keep all of them. We are getting rid of any extra boys in July, when we’re going to be absolutely certain who’s a girl or boy.
