integrating babies with older chickens

What's a good way to integrate 4 8-week babies w 6 older hens? what is important NOT to do?

Put the 8 week olders in a wire cage that is inside their coop or run (whereever the hens can see them all the time) put them by the roost and keep them always together but it is important not to let the chicks out of the cage or the hens will try to kill them. Just keep them in the cage for at least a couple weeks and then once the chicks are big enough the hens will already be comfortable with them. I use this all the time with great success.
