We incubated 10 chicks that are 2 weeks and 4 days old (speckled Sussex roo and Isa brown hen and barred rock hen) and we got 6 more chicks (sapphire gems) from the local feed store that are approximately 1 week old. Can I put them together? I have had them separate for about 3 days now. Thank you for your advice.

I would put them together and keep an eye on them for a bit. We’ve never had issues with this situation! Good luck!
Thank you! I just didn’t know if I needed to quarantine for a certain amount of time. None of them seem sick at all. So I will put them all together in the morning and watch closely!

I’m awful and don’t quarantine chicks 😅 I figure there’s not a bunch of people messing with them and they're not all out on the farm getting in contact with outside germs. If anything, my hatched chicks have given me more anxiety over germs because they’re touching poo on the eggs from unknown farms… So far we’ve done ok though luckily

I think all of these are fine. I think someone would have been showing signs by now. Hopefully all goes well tomorrow and no one wants to be a bully. Haha! Thank you so much for your response!

The best thing to do is put them all together when they all get about the same size. The other best thing to do is put many obstacles in the area. And watch that they all get food and water.
I have two pretty large puppy play pins as the brooder right now and will open two doors and put them together to make a larger brooder tomorrow. They are all around the same size. I have two sets of roost, two eco glows, two nipple drinkers and two feeders. I can add more to it if that doesn’t seem like enough.
