The good thing is you have a nice base structure to add on to. Rather than try to build something entirely new, I'd just add a second run alongside the first if possible (you can leave in the current run sides and door and all that, just prop the door open). It's actually really handy having a run that can be closed off in halves for doing clean up or maintenance work, or for adding chicks.
