integrating chicks of different ages?

I have 5 week old chicks in their own pen in the coop, and I have 2 week old chicks of the same breed in the house. Is it safe to put the 2 week olds out with the older ones? they do have a heat lamp in the coop because is still gets below freezing here in Iowa. The older ones just seem a lot bigger so I am worried about mixing them.
