Integrating goslings into a gaggle

yes miss Lydia I have other ducks but I have three drakes one is the one I raised from an egg he is my baby the other two I need to get rid of. they over breed the girls they are like two brothers and tag team the girls. I am afraid they will abuse the duclaires which are girls. right now they have the protection of the older geese and poor peppie my little boy has no one . I am hoping if and when I get rid of the two drakes peppie will have the whole flock. miss Lydia do you process your ducks? I never did that before I am having trouble finding some one to do it. I know if I want to do this as a business I have to learn. thanks.

I don't process my ducks we have done extra rooster many times though, but i don't know my ducks just have so much personality but I did wind up with 4 drakes back end of spring all over 2 yrs of age and losing some of my girls to egg laying issues and old age I was getting nervous plus the drakes were fighting it just kept the flock stressed out and me too, so I decided to advertize 2 of my drakes and I was amazed I found both new homes where they weren't going to be dinner. Have you tried advertizing them here on BYC or craigs listI I used the news letter in our Power bill for mine and since it is local [only 2 counties] it worked great.
