Integrating my ducks and chickens

Alright thanks all.

The coop is raised about 30” above the ground with a long ramp. I have never seen a duck set foot on the ramp. The oldest chicks go up and down the ramp at will. There is also a 4” high block on the door of the coop. So there are a couple of chicks that love being out with the ducks and come out every day. There are a couple that come out once in awhile. Most of the young chicks stay 100% in the coop (though they will poke their heads over and watch).

Seems workable, the younger chicks that come out don’t really go back up the ramp though.

You also have to remember all drakes are different too. I have 3 drakes, 4 roosters and a gander they stick with their own kind and they have their own females. That is the main thing that keeps the drakes occupied having many females to mate with. Cause boy those hormones are really something.
