integrating roosters together

I am having a rooster overload! I can't get rid of them. I've tried sell sites, Craigs List, you name it. I can't eat them., after they're part of the family. I have 1+ yr old Americauna and Olive-Egger then 2 4-5 month old blue splash marans. and I have 5 month old chicks, sex unknown yet. My question is, is it possible to integrate them into a bachelor pad? I thought about putting them in separate pens in the garage for a week or two, them putting them in the run at the same time. will this work? I read if you take the established roos out of the run when they are put back it a new place with other roos, there won't be a dominate roo.

I haread this problem a while back. I had a rhode island red rooster and a buff orpington rooster. I had jsut bought the rhode island red off of somebody who couldn't handle the rooster. I put the rhode island red (Kluckers) into the coop with the orpington (Fluffy) and they started to fight. After about a minute I interfered and locked Kluckers inside the coop and let Fluffy outside on the run. Eventually, I had to let them see each other and they began to fight again. Kluckers won and became the top of the pecking order and ever since him and Fluffy have been peaceful. Expect a fight of dominance between the two roosters, but after that they should be fine around each other. I dont know if you can prevent this from happening.

With any chicken flock,there is gonna be a dominant bird in the flock.Try and emerge through a dog cage the next few days and then release them.

The two roosters are almost guaranteed to fight. Given enough space they may manage to coexist depending upon the temperament of the roosters. The cockerels may skirmish but not like the roosters.

I think they will fight if there are hens around, they may fight in a bachelor's pad but it should settle down. I would expect with the roosters all being different ages, that the older bird would be top bird, and the younger birds would be differential to the older birds, so without hens, I think a bachelor pad would work now and for the chicks that are roosters to come.

Maaybe? Depends on the birds. Definitely if you're going to have a cockpit keep the visuals on the hens to a minimum. Remember silence of the lambs? "We covet what we see everyday Clarise." Even then be prepared because stuff will get weird. You will have some fights and you will have some jailhouse romance.

Are the roosters together now? Are they fighting with each other now? I ended up with 3 roosters when I ordered NONE! They are all 6 months old. They are all jumping on the girls and acting big and bad, crowing etc. However, between themselves they do not fight! I have never seen them fight one another and they are all living together as one flock with 25 pullets. I know the rooster I like the least and I have a neighbor who wants him if he doesn't work out with us. Only if he (or one of the others) gets aggressive towards ME will I rehome him/them. What are you seeing with yours????

Oh, just give that rooster to your neighbor instead of having your neighbor wish and dream all night that the rooster will get himself in trouble so that she can have it!

the 2 older roosters are in a pen by themselves. they are shy and non-aggressive. they can see the hens but doesn't bother with the rooster in the girl's pen. the 2 younger roosters are still in with the hens and 1 rooster. the older rooster doesn't bother with them. I want to get the young ones out of the girl's pen. the hens are picking on them relentlessly.
