Fingers crossed, but it's starting to look like Sam is going to be a great fit with my other roosters, Goldie and Roofuss. He's not hiding so much anymore, and he doesn't RUN from the roosters when they come near, he only turns and quickly goes the other way. And to their credit, I haven't seen Roofuss or Goldie chasing him at all, in like WEEKS. He's spending a lot more time out in the open and mingling with some of the hens and pullets, even with Goldie or Roofuss within his line of sight. I haven't noticed any mating behavior, yet - but I'm so happy he's fitting in with them!!!
