My 4girls are approaching their first molt. The mother-in-law says they will have an easier time and come out of it faster if they have a roo. A local guy has a 10 week old to rehome, (no roos allowed in his neighborhood). How do I introduce him? Is he too little to be with the big girls? Will a roo actually help or is mother-in-law full of it.

That's new one to me, never heard that before...it makes no sense at all.

Your 4 girls are how old, I'm guessing a but more than a year?
They would beat the snot out of a 10 week old.

Pass on the male.
The stress of adding a bird at this point would only be detrimental to your girls.
What they need to get thru a molt is good protein levels and low calcium.
