Integrating young chickens with older ones

My existing flock of 8 chickens are 11 weeks old, and I’m getting ready to release my last 3, which are 6 weeks old, into the existing flock. The two groups have been “introduced”, having spent time “socializing” via a fence. The younger ones are most anxious to get out and stretch their wings in a much larger coop/run! My question is: is the timing right to place both groups together????

You can try but watch them. I have 4 3 week olds who run with my 17 week olds. My big girls surprisingly dont mind them.
