Integration Issues?

Amazon. I had chicken wire prior, and they kept escaping. I had to get something affordable quick because we have a lot of predatory birds here (literally had a hawk flapping at the fence trying to get to them) and I didn't want them to get taken. It has faired well and I can get in and out just fine.
I have aviary netting over my run too - it really helps to keep the birds of prey out.
I might look into the fencing, looks like something I could use in other areas of the yard.

At Manerhousechick: A single bird is a very tough addition. Try this, pick a single bird out of your flock, a middle bird, not the bottom. Pair her up with the newbie, they will fight it out, but it is one on one. Leave them together for a couple of weeks, then introduce the pair to the flock. At that time, pull the two meanest birds out of the flock, and put where you had the newbie + friend. Wait several days and add them back in.

Well I figured I would post an update to anyone having issues. Since this thread, the newbies don't have to hide any more, but if I throw any treats or veggies in there, the newbies still get chased away. Baby steps :)
Oh that goes on forever...I spread 'treats far and wide to give the underlings a better chances.
Glad things have smoothed out!
