No, I don't trust many of the 'breeders' out there. I prefer to not bring disease home so I only order day old chicks from Ideal.

For what it's worth, my birds are 6 and 1/2-year-olds old and still lay.
Easter Eggers, Welsummers and Australorps from ideal.
