interesting find on ducks

OH WOW that is odd. The bag of seed you mentioned comes from Pennington Seed, the place I work at. IF or WHEN I get ducks I can hopefully get this and at a discount for them. Another pro to getting ducks!!!!!!

I came across a site a year or so ago with a similiar product, mostly praising millet for ducks. I bought a $50# bag of millet at my local feed store (inexpensive) and started adding it to the duck's feed. They started having a lot of black stinky poo that attracted flies and I stopped giving it to them! I have that bag still thinking I will try sprouting some of it. Maybe the ducks do better with the unripe seed, as the idea was to provide a forage area for them? Or maybe I got a type of millet that's just not as good for ducks?
Just my own failed experiment.

I would plant it, DWD. Millet is very easy to grow, at least the type we have tried (White Proso and at least one other). The ducks will love it and it grows really fast as well.
