So I'd often wondered how much extra do you feed your poultry on days of bad weather; snow, rain, etc.

Today it only rained. But it was rainy for much of the day. It also just so happens that the ducks were noisy all day, even though I fed them on time.

So this leads me to hypothesize that their being noisier on inclement weather days, is satisfactory evidence that they do need more feed on such days. I do also think that they were noisier on inclement weather days also, in a pattern (?)

And typically my ducks usually aren't noisy unless its feeding time. They are actually pretty quiet most of the time, provided that I feed on time, and provided that there isn't tons of human traffic going around all the time. (Like if my neighbors are making a bunch of noise in their yards, the ducks will react to it. But it seems that if you create a stable environment that ducks can actually be pretty quiet.)

Although I am still not sure by how much extra... that is the next step.

Well anyway, I was curious what others had to observe on this, and what thoughts you had.
