Dear OP/Pippin, I wonder why this is important to know? (Didn't read the thread)

Maybe nice to know: I love spinach but I can’t eat much of it because I am intolerant for all food that is high in histamines.

With asparagus I don’t have this histamine problem.

I like them both, though I eat spinach a lot more because it is pretty much a year round crop here.
