Interesting thing you saw outside today?

Today I saw this young katydid and a little praying mantis. What interesting things have you seen outside?

I saw a beautiful black, blue, yellow, and orange butterfly today. He flew away before I could get a picture though.

Wow! The only butterfly’s i see are just little yellow ones lol.

Doe on the driveway, right after we finished complaining we hadn't seen a deer around in a year. Hubby walked it down the driveway so his mother could drive down without risk of hitting it.

We saw a banana slug the other night, the pretty kind that are yellow with brown spots. Haven't seen one of those in years, we tend to get the typical black ones.

Today I found a bunch a snail eggs will pulling weeds in the garden.

A green June beetle keeps flying overhead. It's kind of irritating. Birds keep scaring my little pullets, who are free-ranging right now.
