Have you tried bringing her in and soaking her in warm water (15 minutes)? I just had an eggbound pullet the other day and that resolved the issue overnight.

I wouldn't poke or prod either for fear of doing more harm than good. A warm bath couldn't hurt anything though. Who knows maybe it will do some good.
