Ok so I've got the thermometer at the top of the eggs reading between 99 & 100

The one on the wire reads a little lower.

I set a water wiggler with a digital thermometer sticking out from it.

My question is - What temp should the water wiggler thermo read?

Thanks in advance

Okay, I am a total newbie, but my understanding is the internal temp should be 98? If it is a still air bator then it should be 101 on top of the eggs, and 99.5 on top if forced air. Correct me if I am wrong.

A water wiggler is one of those things that feel like a balloon, kinda twisted in on itself and filled with water.

And you play with it, it just goes around and around in a continuous circle/ cycle

And I have a digital thermometer stuck in one

OK , I get the idea. I believe it should read 99.5 to 100 when you set your eggs. Remember that as the embryos develop they generate internal heat but the Water Wiggler does not, so do not worry if the temp reading there drops slightly. The more eggs you have in there will have a greater effect in the late stages.
