Not exactly. An actual stuck egg is egg bound. Internal laying and false laying are conditions where egg material and infection can build in oviducts or get into the abdomen and "cook" in there. It builds and builds and eventually, the systems shut down and they die. No cure, no preventative.


Cheryl, I'm sorry about your relative. Wish we could have helped your hen, but there really wasn't anything that could have been done for her.

Thx so much. We r finally on our way home now. Two very hard weeks but on the way home I get to go by nifty and Emily to pick up the 37 eggs they've been sitting for me. They said they saw some wiggle last night. We r going to put a few eggs under their broody tonight. After dealing with dealth all week it will be a blessing to see new lives being born
