Hi all,

First time incubating eggs. As the title says I just started day 17 on hour ago and I’m questioning if this is an internal pip on my Polish egg? Im obviously inexperienced so I can’t tell if it’s just pushing on the membrane or pipped but it’s been at it this way for an hour or so so even if pushing on it I assume it will get through soon?
If it is should I pull out the egg turner and get set up for lockdown tonight?
Any advice appreciated!

internal pip could mean, an outer pip tomorrow.
outer pip will still take an egg 12-24 hr. to hatch.
So at least 2 more days. Don't be tempted to hatch.

The other eggs do not need to be turned. There are different reasons turning helps early during incubation but after two weeks turning is no longer necessary for chicken eggs.
