he did do a lot growing for sure ,
big boy now ,love his long back and small tail .
body colour ,your hens going to fix that for sure ,your hens produced stunning copper type on the cockerels and pullets . rich red .

I think he is going to compliment what you have .

shame to hear about his comb . it is small ,I was not expecting it to go lop . normally happen to a larger combs .

guess he is there for his long wide back and gorgeous tail . body type too

Yes definitely there for his type and topline. I can forgive the halo and comb. I really think the females I have paired him with will help correct those things like you said. He has calmed down a lot also and isn't as skittish as he used to be.

Well I couldn’t figure out who all was from the youngest group except the rooster. So here is most of the girls haha

And the dear boy.
He may look a little ruff. He’s the youngest rooster in the flock and the Ayam Cemanis like to peck on him, plus he’s a softy and lets the hens walk all over him.
I swear he has another leg, he just doesn’t like to get it dirty haha

We didn’t realize our birds were such a nice quality until we came here. They started out a few years ago as those pretty eggs on Pinterest, then they were a fun project for my mom and I to try and hatch, and then...
well ya know, they were addicting chickens haha.
Now we’re here.

your cockerel has no fault .he is a ideal true marans type .
correct body type
correct body marking
correct copper type
correct head /eyes colour /comb /ear lobe /ears tuft and wattles
Correct back .long and a little tilted
correct tail .great shape ,well formed and great angle.

hard to beat if you show him . I ll give him 98 points .I ll take 2 points from his feets .they could do with some more feathers around the outre toes .

work only with this guy . he is the complete package for sure .

need a great name .

her comb let her down, every thing else is perfect .

the cockerel is your standard for the cockerels
this pullets is your standard for the pullets .
