This is the first time I've artificially hatched eggs. Three silkie eggs. One started pipping Thursday night, and the second on Friday. The second emerged this morning, Saturday, and the first had made very little progress. So I decided to assist it. There was poop in the bottom of the egg when it came out, so I'm thinking it was stuck?
Did I do the right thing?
They both seem to be doing fine at the moment.
Also the third egg hasn't shown any signs of pipping yet. How long should I wait?
