Intestinal Lining

At what age is it possible to begin seeing signs of shedding of the intestinal lining? I have recently put my birds outside. They 4 of them are almost 10 weeks old and the rest almost 6 weeks old. This AM I saw a couple of poops that appear to have some shedding going on. Look just like the pics on the 'poop page'. Also, what causes this? Does it happen to all birds?

There is shedding continuously...in the chickens and yourself. Same with skin, feather, .... a cells life is in days, not weeks.
