I know there are other threads about this, but I can't help wanting an expert to look at a poop pic.

I have 5 chicks, now 5 weeks old, from a hatchery and raised from day old by my broody whose eggs didn't hatch. Broody and chicks are in a small coop and adjacent run next to the rest of my little mixed backyard flock (5 other hens and one roo).

Broody had a roundworm in her poop a few days before the chicks arrived, so I treated her with safeguard paste a couple days before I gave her the chicks and again on day 10 - but assume the chicks may have been exposed.

I've noticed some red or coral-coloured bits in chick poop over the last couple of weeks. The chicks are all energetic, with good appetites, and seem to be growing (one is smaller than the others with tail feathers slow to come in).

Any thoughts if this poop might indicate coccidiosis or worms?

EDIT to note that the chicks are on medicated starter.
