Intoducing blind pullet to existing flock.

I love Tycine1's idea! I have two 7 year old sister chickens, and they love each other! I have one of the sisters keeping a quarantined chicken company right now and it really helps! I would also suggest maybe if you have some older aged chickens, pick on of them to be friends with you blind hen. I know my older sister chickens ae kinder than the rest. But some times it can be the opposite, and an older chicken will try and establish pecking order. Just a thought.

Tommorow, I'm going to reorganize the cardboard, and put shavings over it, and in the crate. I made the perch for my chickens, but they don't use it. The cardboard will be like a nesting box, she will be coming into lay in a few weeks, and I'm planning on adding a dust bath, though I'm curious as to how that will work. So... Welcome to the chicken hotel, 30 day home of my new pullet! My goal is to give her 5 happy years!

My plan is to have her outdoors for most of the day, depending on the weather. The floor will be sacrificed... Wich doesn't bother me much.

Sorry I haven't responded earlier, Our flock is way to active for her. So we got her to little babies! So cute! She loves having company, one loves her, the other, well, she loves food lol.
