Intresting, what would you do?

I had a simular situation happen to me but instead of hatchlings it was pullets and the seller swore they were hens and was quick to inform me that he has been raising chickens for better than 20 years. Well he did not know a hen from shinola as I ended up with 4 roos and 1 hen.

I did not want to waste the gas it was going to take to drive all the way to this mans house to show my dissatisfaction so I just gave them away. I am only out $8.00 for the birds and whatever feed I gave them until the time of removal from the coop.

I did gain the experience of not believing everything anyone tells me.

The one clear mistake the seller made was not to explain beforehand that hatch rates were not guaranteed. But because they were the wrong breed, He/She should at least make an effort to do something for that.
