Intro and New Question

:welcome Welcome to the BYC Forums! Hope to hear lots from you in the future. Love those pics. Thanks.

Seems like there is always some pecking order stuff going on, even with chicks. Usually, it does not hurt anybody. Your chick might need a little extra attention for a day or so, but I always try to keep the brooder chicks together as much as possible. If that one chick is getting pecked to the point where her life is in jeopardy, then some kind of temporary separation might be necessary. I like the idea of trying to separate her within the brooder, but close to the other chicks. They are flock animals, and she will do better by staying close and fitting in with the others.

Baby chicks grow fast and strong in those first days and weeks. I always breathe a little easier every passing week when they are in the brooder. Hoping that everything works out for you and the chicks. :fl

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
Where did you get the chicks? If she is a mixed breed, could she be mixed with a bantam?
I would start boosting her with several drops of poultry multivitamin and mineral supplement three times a day for a week and see if that helps her. You should divide the brooder so she can access the heat and all the chicks can see each other and keep her there until she is moving without signs of injury.
She is an Easter Egger. I have her separated. She’s eating and drinking when I offer but can’t walk far. I think it’s a slipped tendon. I was able to straighten it but it seems to slip back out.
